Will there be a SEXPO in Cape Town during 2011? - No, unfortunately there will not be a Cape Town event this year and at this stage we are looking at only doing a Jo’burg show locally in 2012. There are a number of exciting things happening in SEXPO’s immediate future, such as our expansion into Europe in 2012, which will have an effect on our local events. We will keep you informed of future shows on our official website.
What are the dates and times that SEXPO Jo’burg 2012 is running?
- Thursday, 27th September: 11:00 am to 23:00 pm
- Friday, 28th September: 11:00 am to Midnight
- Saturday, 29th September: 11:00 am to Midnight
- Sunday, 30th September: 11:00 am to 21:00 pm
What is the entry fee? - We have normal tickets selling for R150-00 each and VIP tickets selling for R250-00 each.
What is the difference between a normal ticket and a VIP ticket?
- Normal Ticket (R150-00): Access to Sexpo: Health, Sexuality & Lifestyle Expo Divine Shopping and Entertainment Experience.
- VIP Ticket (R250-00): Access to Sexpo: Health, Sexuality & Lifestyle Expo Divine Shopping and Entertainment Experience, shorter queuing times due to separate VIP access point, on arrival you will be presented with a VIP Gift Bag – a SEXPO branded sling bag filled with fun and sexy goodies, product samples, informative leaflets, discount vouchers redeemable at participating exhibitor stands, 50 % discount on entrance fees for ladies- and men’s lounges and access to our VIP Bar situated next to the Main Stage.
Are there discounted tickets available? – Yes, SEXPO traditionally offers a 50 % off normal entry on our opening day, generally the Thursday of our 4 day event. The discount can only be claimed with the presentation of a printed voucher which are generally distributed via activations, e-mailer to our club members and appearing in major publications in the province where the applicable event is to be held.
Can I bring my child to SEXPO? - No person under the age on 18, even small infants, will be permitted into SEXPO. You may be asked to produce your I.D. or driver’s license for age verification.
Is there wheelchair access for the physically disabled? - Yes, SEXPO is wheelchair accessible and has toilet facilities for physically disabled patrons.
Can I bring a camera into SEXPO? - Still cameras are permitted, but please obtain permission from the subject you wish to photograph. No video recording equipment is permitted.
What type of stage shows can I expect to see at SEXPO? - SEXPO showcases the cream of local and international talent, both male and female performers from within the realm of eroticism and beyond such as comedians, hypnotists, acrobats, dancers, magicians, musicians, crowd participation competitions and lots more…
Can I get a pass out? - Once you’re in, you’re in. If you leave the event premises, you will have to regain entry by purchasing another ticket.
Can I purchase tickets on the day? - Yes, you can purchase tickets at the venue on the day via cash, debit- or credit card! We do advise you to pre-purchase your tickets on-line to avoid the queues.
Does the venue have ATM facilities? - Yes, there are various ATM’s available in and around the venue, but we do recommend that you arrive with cash due to the high demand and long queues at the ATM points.
Can I pay for purchases from exhibitors with a credit card? - We do offer the option for exhibitors to request credit card facilties for their stands, but this is completely at the discretion of the exhibitors and their individual preference may be to accept cash only.
